Went to the movies with daughter, husband, and two grandsons last night. Highway robbery!!! The tickets were the least expensive item. Popcorn and two drinks were $18.50! We bought one more drink and two boxes of candy for a grand total of $40.00. How can families afford this?
And while standing in the front of the long line, a popcorn kernel flew 10 feet, hit my husband on the neck, and went down his shirt, burning him in the process. The worker did say, "Sorry about that."
One guy took our order, no, wait. He just looked at the cash register. After hubby had completed the order, the guy asked what kind of popcorn we wanted, our first order. Then after he took the order, rang it up, he walked away. After a long pause, some other young man steps up and asks our order. Frustrating. If I lived near this theater, I would be smuggling my own food in to enjoy. Almost choked on the popcorn.
The movie How to Train Your Dragon was awesome.
