Four Days and Counting

Speaking of school (read previous blog), yesterday was a wild and crazy day. As we approach the holidays, the children become more wound up. It becomes difficult to continue the learning process. Because I have taught numerous years I know the pattern that the kids will follow. So I was more creative this week and planned ahead. We were able to finish some of the big tests this week before they are completely out of control for the last week before Christmas break. It won't be easy sailing, but will be much more productive grade-wise. Next week I will have to keep reminding myself of this piece of wisdom!
