Survivors Include...

I've spent the past hour composing the obituary for my father who is near death. I have always enjoyed writing, but this task was very draining. How do you condense a person's life, loves, and accomplishments in a narrow column? I decided to err by including too much information on my initial writing. The obit can always be reduced to fit the requirements of the newspaper. Only God knows the hour my dad will pass, but I do have relief in knowing the last words about his stellar life are saved on the computer to be changed and retrieved as needed.
