Bad Boy

My granddaughter came in last night for a short visit after seeing her Mimi in Kokomo. Toots had on a pink tie-dyed baseball cap that was very cute only Toots had it on sideways. She came in the room with her arms folded and her lips pursed. She wouldn't speak for the longest time then finally asked me, "Do I look like I am tough?" Where did that cute little girl go? lol

Patient Progresses

Hubby and I have been for his follow-up visit and all seems good. He had the stitches removed, all but one that is. The doctor said in three weeks he will be able to move the arm a little more and have the pillow removed. Hubby is to start cutting back on the pain meds and ice as he tolerates. He has done well being the patient. Usually he does not want me to help him do anything, and especially don't ask to help! I'm so thankful for his progress.

Today my hubby has shoulder surgery to clean out some spurs, floating chips, and maybe rotater cuff tear. Pray that all goes well and that the surgery fixes his problem.

On our snowdays from school, Toots and I made this snowman family. An added bonus is the small socks fit Toots. She was very excited about that, as well.

Snow Day, Again, with the Fashionista

Another snow day, one in which I can get a lot of work or school work done. But it could be a day to play with Toots. I shall call her parents and let them know that she is most welcomed to come here today instead of going to day care. I have to be ready for Toots' choice. She sometimes chooses day care over coming here because she wants to play with her friends. Mimi can live with that since I do have so much work to accomplish.

I Can Read So Much Better!

Toots so much wants to wear eyeglasses. She borrowed my reading glasses to "read" the newspaper. She looked so cute. Let's hope she doesn't have to wear them for a long time, if ever. They are NOT cute when you have to have them.

Where Have You Been?

Yes, I know, I've been neglectful in my posting. I could blame it on disappointment that no one comments or that I have been really busy. But the truth is, I have been sleeping in till the alarm so I have not had the time to even check my blog, let alone post. But who can complain about getting more sleep? Guess I'll have to set my alarm for a little earlier so I have more time in the morning.
