Easy Missions to Do from Home
Hubby and I went to the National Missionary Convention last weekend. It was so awesome. I was happy to get new ideas of how to do missions in the states. Our small group from church is becoming more involved with the missions, so some of the new ideas will be useful to them as well. One new ideas is called Mission in a Bag. People collect and send in a plastic bag medical supplies, school supplies, sewing items, etc. This will be a great way to send all those yard goods that I have purchased over the years, but do not get around to making. Also a fellow teacher's grandmother has tons of material she needs to send. She will be so pleased to know that it will be useful all around the world! Another mission asks for old bibles, leftover church, VBS, Sun. School, and school materials. The stuff is sorted, bundled, and send all over the world to people who need it. Such an easy thing.
