Hairspray

Went to see the movie Hairspray today with a couple of friends. We thought it was great with memorable songs, fantastic dancing, and oh-so-funny humor. Younger folk may not get some of it, but we boomers lived through that time. John Travolta is divine as a woman while the new girl, Nicole Blonsky as Tracy, is superb. But check it out at rotten tomatoes. I wished I could have laughed out loud even more, but after seeing the worker with the flashlight walking up and down the steps, I decided to tone it down a notch.
